Copy of Title or Register Search Statement – what’s the difference?

Bytes_blck

A Copy of Title and a Register Search Statement or RSS are the same thing, an electronic copy of a title.

An RSS contains information about the title on a property* in Victoria, including:

  • Current property owners
  • The land’s description, including lot and plan details
  • Encumbrances, such as mortgages, caveats or covenants

*Note: an RSS reflects the status of the title at the time of purchase of the RSS.

To learn more or order a Register Search Statement use the button below. It’s easy to purchase and will be delivered via email in just minutes.
